Players need to time their casts perfectly, then quickly reel in the line when a fish bites. Larger or rarer fish tend to struggle more, so timely reflexes will determine whether you keep your catch or let it escape.
Each fish caught is recorded in your collection and earns gold coins for equipment upgrades. As you progress, you can unlock boats to venture into new areas, where rare fish species and different fishing conditions appear. NPC quests also provide players with experience points and useful items, contributing to a steady progression.
Upgrade your equipment to catch rare fish
The game's equipment system is quite diverse, offering many choices of fishing rods, bait, and accessories. Stronger rods provide better control over the fish, increase retrieval speed, and improve the chances of encountering rare fish. Some types of floats can attract special fish species, while temporary enhancement potions can boost luck or increase the chance of encountering mutated fish.
Additionally, expanding your inventory is crucial. A larger backpack allows you to carry more fish on each long trip, avoiding the need to return to sell them too soon.
