Sorry Bob isn't a surgery game. It's a neurological test disguised as an operating room. You play as Nigel Burke, an unqualified but overconfident doctor, standing before Bob, who lies motionless. Step into the operating room and see how many apologies Bob receives.

Sorry Bob

How to play Sorry Bob

The game is played from a first-person perspective. You only control your left hand, which floats above the patient's body. Each surgery requires replacing a specific organ, while time and blood volume silently tick down like a countdown clock to disaster.
All tools tend to slip, rotate, and bounce back. Simple tasks like holding a scalpel become a chaotic physics challenge.

Steps in a surgery

  • Read the target: Identify the organ to be replaced. Observe the surrounding containers before touching anything inside Bob's chest.
  • Break the rib cage: Use a hammer or heavy tool to break the ribs. A slight slip of the hand, and blood will gush out like a broken faucet.
  • Remove the old organs: Gently pull them out. Throw them away quickly to avoid obstructing your view.
  • Install the new organs: Release the correct organ before the health bar hits the bottom. One wrong move and Bob is out of the operating room.

Control System

There are no simple gripping operations. Each finger is a separate key:

  • A: Little finger
  • W: Ring finger
  • E: Middle finger
  • R: Index finger
  • Space: Thumb
  • Mouse cursor: Move hand
  • Left click: Lower hand to grip
  • Hold right click: Rotate wrist

This mechanism completely breaks the usual control habits. You're not just operating on a patient. You're relearning how to use your own hands.

Why is this game difficult?

  • With only one hand, there's no natural coordination.
  • Controlling each finger individually renders reflex muscles useless.
  • The slippery physics makes tools constantly want to slip from your hand.
  • Blood drains from even the smallest mistakes.
  • The environment sometimes shakes or moves unexpectedly.
  • Every mistake has a price. And that price is paid in… Bob.

Each completed surgery unlocks a new environment and challenge. But the feeling of victory in Sorry Bob isn't about pride. It's like holding up a collapsing building with two shaky fingers. Ready to test how steady your hand is? Bob is waiting.
